Dr. James Dwyer graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In May 2006, Dr. Dwyer received an executive Master in Business Administration degree from the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Dwyer has previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Virtua and co-chair of the National Committee for Quality Health Care’s (NCQHC) Performance Measurement Tools Task Force. He continues to practice rheumatology with Arthritis, Rheumatic & Back Disease Associates and has been named a top doctor by both The Guide to Top Doctors in America and South Jersey Magazine.
