Dr. Shawn Abraham completed an accelerated seven-year medical program from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University, and Saint George’s University with honors. He completed his internal medicine residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center. He went on to pursue his fellowship in rheumatology at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Abraham has received multiple awards from the D.C. Rheumatism Society for his case presentations. He recently published work on the management of vascular complications seen in certain rheumatic conditions in the journal Therapeutics and Clinical Risk Management. He was born and brought up in New Jersey and in his free time likes to pursue reading, playing his guitar, and spending time with family.
