Dr. Patel completed her fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing her training, she spent 4 years at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where she directly trained and supervised upcoming rheumatology fellows. She served as Associate Rheumatology Program Director (Einstein Healthcare Network) since 2016 and most recently served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University).
She is a caring and dedicated physician serving the communities of Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey and is currently based at Voorhees and Moorestown. In addition to having an interest in rheumatoid arthritis, she is actively engaged and dedicated to clinical care to patients with general rheumatology and musculoskeletal disorders. She continues to have a passion in teaching.
In addition to her extensive training and clinical experience – Dr. Patel has a keen interest in academic research. Most recently, her paper on “Disease Characteristics and Treatment Patterns in US Veterans Suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis” was published in the Journal of Arthritis Care & Research.
