After getting back some concerning labs, I was able to get an almost immediate appointment, unlike Penn Rheumatology, who told me the earliest I could be seen was July 2027! Finding the right doctor is very subjective. While medical knowledge is a given, patient relations is important for me. I want someone who knows the science, appropriate tests, and medications for my condition. But I need someone to ask questions to dig into how I'm affected and what they can recommend to make my life better. I'm a newer patient of Dr. Wollermann, and she is wonderful. She's efficient and thorough and seems to really know her stuff. As soon as I explained my symptoms, she seemed to know what was going on with me. She made a clear and competent hypothesis with a plan for next steps, and I agreed with her every step of the way. Nancy Eisenberger was also wonderful to follow up with. She was very knowledgeable and kind, and her experience really shows when working with her. I appreciated that both of them were familiar with rare conditions and not afraid to throw the possibility of them into the mix, and that they both knew of commonly co-occurring conditions and encouraged assessment from other specialists. I feel like this is exactly the place to go when you're getting the runaround from other rheumatologists. Hearing people's experiences with other rheumatologists made me fearful I'd be waiting years for a diagnosis with no help and suffering through extensive damage, but this practice has shown me there are truly good physicians out there who are knowledgeable and want to help you find answers. I must say that the office staff is also kind, patient, and very helpful. This is the first doctor's office I've been to in a long time where I feel like I'm working with humans who treat me like a human. I genuinely believe I am in good hands, and I feel like that's so rare nowadays.

For my situation, she doesn't push medication. Like other doctors, they get frustrated and tell me there's nothing more they can do for me. This is one place that immediately went to the top of my recommendation list. Hopefully it stays that way. Easy to travel to. Parking plentiful. First-floor suite. Welcoming waiting room. Front desk is a pro. Receptionist not only knows her stuff and has an efficient, streamlined process but is kind and friendly. Welcoming like an apple pie at grandma's house, but with a "don't touch that pie till I say" undertone. Love her! Clean and refreshing space outside and inside the physician's office. Wait time was a little longer than I would have liked, but good things come to those that wait, and I attribute that to the fact that the physician seems willing to give each patient some extra time and wiggle room once they are in her office. The doc gave me plenty of room and space to share my concerns and to explain my symptoms. Plentiful notes were taken. Blood work I brought in was reviewed and opinions and ideas were shared. I was very satisfied with the quality of the appt and what I left with, which was direction and next steps and a promise to come back and continue moving forward together. I felt like I found a partner and key player for my team. After-visit admin was a breeze and I left feeling like I had a win that day. Looking forward to working with Dr. Neha Patel and her office staff again.

Since 2017 I have had chronic muscle and joint pain. I was sent to different specialists and even had a surgery on my knee, only for me to still be in pain. I had my first visit here on 08/28/2023 with Dr. Michael Schuster. I was pleasantly surprised at how receptive the lady was at the front desk, the MA, and Dr. Schuster. Dr. Schuster was pleasant, knowledgeable, forthcoming, thorough, answered my questions as well as my husband’s, did a thorough exam, and ordered testing to assist him in formulating a treatment plan. I was nervous seeing a new rheumatologist because I had a longstanding relationship with my former rheumatologist, but he retired. Dr. Schuster made both my husband and I feel very welcomed and at ease and thus I will continue my care here. I would highly recommend ARBDA to my family members and friends seeking rheumatologic care. My only recommendation would be better signs in the parking lot to lead you to the office and a cosmetic update to the office. That being said, the office was very clean and I felt comfortable!

After an absence of more than eight years, I had a need to return to this Arthritis Group to see if I could get some relief from a recent increase of pain. The group had moved to a new location, and appears to have a much larger staff of doctors and support personnel than previously. I was able to get an appointment to see a doctor quickly and after getting some X-rays, etc., I will be returning for a follow-up and treatment as needed. I’m 34 with a plethora of issues stemming from a lifelong history of untreated RA and other newly diagnosed issues, pain, etc. For years I was told to see Dr. Solomon and I was unable to for plenty of reasons and excuses I made on my own. I finally decided to make an appt this year and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. Not only does he take the time to listen to your concerns, he takes the time to get to know you so he can treat you accordingly. This is what healthcare should be like, and I feel truly blessed to have found such a good place to put my mind and health at ease. I’ve never felt as if I am bothering them with my concerns and they are extremely prompt at returning calls. I cannot tell you how much his support and his entire staff’s support (INFUSION LADIES!!) means to me. It has given me hope for my future and honestly, I’ve got my life back. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sundhar’s since 2014. When I first came to see him, I was struggling with daily tasks. I was really sick and had a lot of brain fog. The practice I had left was trying to shove pain meds on me even though I told the doctor I didn’t want them because I was worried it would affect my job performance. My first appointment with Dr. Sundhar was comprehensive and lengthy. He asked a lot of questions. I answered. I let him know my concerns as far as pain medications and he listened, really heard me. Then he made a game plan for my treatment. At that time, I was so impressed with the time he took, his active listening, his knowledge, understanding, and kindness. It turned out that wasn’t just a first-time visit sort of thing. He’s genuine and the real deal. I’ve come a long way since then. What a blessing to have found him and this practice. My experience with all the staff, including the infusion team (at one time I was receiving infusions), has been one of the best experiences I’ve had with any practice. They’re really a remarkable team. I feel fortunate to be a patient there and to have found such a great doctor.

Dr. Ruchi Patel is a wonderful doctor who actually cares about the well-being of her patients. I had been seeing a rheumatologist for 2 years prior to getting a second opinion for my chronic pain. He did nothing but give me follow-up appointments every 3 months with no concerns for my frustration. From my first visit with Dr. Patel, she addressed all of my concerns, including tests to figure out what was causing my pain. She finally ordered the necessary imaging to help diagnose and treat my pain. I’m one month post-op and my 18 years of pain are finally over. I can’t thank her enough for changing my life. She is truly amazing!

I saw Dr. Arielle Silver to discuss some recent elevated blood test results that could indicate inflammation, or possibly an autoimmune or connective tissue disease. Dr. Silver performed a thorough physical exam and then asked me several questions. She was able to rule out various possibilities based on my answers to her questions. I have to get some additional blood tests which will aid Dr. Silver in her diagnosis. Dr. Silver was caring, competent, and addressed questions that I presented to her. I felt relieved after my appointment with her.

I had been suffering in pain for months and none of the doctors I had seen prior were able to diagnose what was happening in my body. I truly had anxiety and was depressed because I was afraid I would have to continue living in such pain and no one would be able to help me due to the global pandemic and as a single mother I needed answers immediately. I reached out to ARBDA and was able to make an appointment with Dr. Patel in March and was so afraid I would need to cancel due to COVID-19, but they were amazing. The office staff made me feel safe and she had a mask on even behind the glass. Finally, I was able to see Dr. Patel, who, by the way, practiced social distancing as we did our in-person visit by sitting away but still able to see the reason I was there. If it had not been for this office and Dr. Patel it may have ended very bad for me. Thank you for taking every precaution and following guidelines provided by the CDC. After my first visit we had to transition to virtual visits. I had never done this but must say the staff was so helpful. Dr. Patel was great! I did not feel rushed when I had some trouble logging on the first time and the virtual visits worked so well for me. I hope they will continue because sometimes with work it makes it difficult to get out of the office and this way it was still a good way to discuss my treatment plan and medications with the doctor. THANK YOU Dr. Patel as she immediately requested specific blood work to be done which resulted in being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and put on treatment immediately. This has changed my life where I can now be there for my family and begin to live life again especially during COVID-19. Her care for me has helped me so much even though we are living through these times I did not let my fear of how to do virtual appointments hold me back from getting the care I needed. Dr. Patel is a great doctor and if I have to continue wearing a mask or doing virtual I will do it. Anytime I have a question about my medications she makes sure to get back to me. If it hadn't been for her I would never have been diagnosed with RA and started treatment immediately. I am grateful and blessed. Thank you.
