Rheumatologists in Gloucester Township, NJ
Specialized Rheumatology Care Close to Home
You understand your body better than anyone. When something feels off in your joints, muscles, or bones, it deserves real attention. Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates has been diagnosing and treating rheumatic diseases, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions since 1974, bringing more than 50 years of dedicated rheumatology experience to patients in Gloucester Township and across our broad service area. We are an independent rheumatology practice, not a general internal medicine office that handles rheumatology on the side.
Every physician on our team has completed fellowship training in rheumatology and is board-certified or board-eligible. From your first appointment, you'll work with a team that listens carefully, reviews your medical history, performs a detailed physical examination, and provides access to advanced laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and infusion therapy services within our practice.

Why Gloucester Township Patients Choose Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates
Few independent rheumatology practices offer the combination of credentialed physicians, in-house infusion infrastructure, and nationally recognized ultrasound leadership that Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates brings to patient care. That distinction matters when you're managing a condition that requires long-term, focused attention.
Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates pioneered in-office biologic infusion therapy among independent rheumatology practices in New Jersey, completing the first infusion treatment in 2001. Today, our IDYLLIC Infusion Treatment Centers, located within our offices, complete as many as 29,000 infusions for over 8,000 patients in one year. Receiving biologic infusions here rather than at a hospital-based facility can mean substantially lower cost, with an on-site medical professional supervising every infusion.
Our diagnostic ultrasound center is led by Amy Evangelisto, M.D., RhMSUS, who holds certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound and served as President of the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists. That credential combination is rare in an independent practice setting. Every scan is interpreted by a physician trained specifically in rheumatology, not a general radiologist.
At the practice level, our founder, Dr. Sheldon Solomon, holds the title of “Master” from the American College of Rheumatology, one of the highest honors that organization bestows, and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Mark Fisher, a founding partner and Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, has served as a clinical investigator in multiple phase 2 and phase 3 trials for new biologics and rheumatoid arthritis medications, giving our practice direct involvement in shaping today's standard-of-care treatments.
Can Our Rheumatologists Help You?
Our Gloucester Township office treats a wide range of autoimmune and rheumatic conditions that can affect joints, organs, and connective tissue simultaneously, underscoring the importance of focused diagnosis for accurate treatment.
Many patients visit a rheumatologist after a referral from their primary care provider for joint pain, persistent fatigue, swelling, unusual rashes, or signs of autoimmune activity. If your bloodwork has shown elevated inflammation markers or if you've experienced unexplained pain for an extended period, it may be time to schedule a visit. Early diagnosis can help reduce flare severity and help prevent unnecessary hospital visits.
Call us at (856) 424-5005 to schedule your visit. We work with most major insurance plans and can help identify copay assistance options to make your care more affordable!
