Each infusion is part of a broader care plan developed by our experienced team of rheumatologists in close coordination with your primary care provider and caregiver.
Every infusion at an IDYLLIC center is supervised by an on-site medical professional, and all physicians and nurses have advanced clinical training and experience in infusion services. Before each infusion, you’ll consult with a physician to confirm safety and wellness. Each IDYLLIC location is equipped with EKG, X-ray, and laboratory services so that clinical needs can be addressed on-site.
We also believe that comfort supports care. Patients are treated in reclining pillow-top chairs with warm blankets, individualized TVs or tablets, snacks, and beverages. The environment is designed to feel welcoming, not clinical, so that recurring visits are as easy as possible for patients managing long-term conditions.
Leading the Way in In-Office Infusions
Our practice was the first independent rheumatology practice in New Jersey to offer in-office infusion services. Our founding partners recognized early the potential for biologics to fundamentally change how many inflammatory diseases are treated. We completed our first infusion treatment in 2001, and since that milestone, our multiple locations throughout the state now complete as many as 29,000 infusions for over 8,000 patients in one year.
That depth of experience supports informed, attentive care. The physicians and nurses who oversee your infusion have decades of collective experience with the drugs being administered, the conditions being treated, and the responses to expect. Learn more about our IDYLLIC Infusion Treatment Centers. IDYLLIC centers also serve patients referred by other specialty physicians, not only those already in our rheumatology practice.
Paying for Your Infusion Therapy
Infusion treatments at our IDYLLIC centers are generally less expensive for both the patient and the insurance company than equivalent care at an outpatient hospital. Hospital-based infusion centers impose facility fees and overhead charges that our freestanding outpatient centers don’t, and that difference can have a meaningful impact on costs over the course of a treatment plan.
Our support staff handles all pre-authorization and referral requirements. We work with most major insurance plans, walk patients through their benefits, file insurance claims on their behalf, and help identify copay assistance options to make care as affordable as possible. Eligibility and amounts vary by drug and insurance plan, and our team can help you find out what may be available to you.
Whether you’re a patient exploring infusion therapy for the first time or a physician looking for a trusted center in New Jersey, call Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates at (856) 424-5005 to discuss whether infusion therapy may be the right step.
